Built from a real restaurant problem.

BellQR started with a simple question: why do so many guests still dislike using QR menus?

BellQR was not created by a software company looking for another SaaS product. It was created by a restaurant owner frustrated by the QR menus available to guests.

As co-owner of Bell & Bastion, a restaurant in Gozo, Malta, I saw the same problems over and over again. QR menus were often difficult to browse, lacked useful features, and gave restaurants very little insight into what guests actually thought about their experience.

Before BellQR, I co-founded Hotjar, a product experience insights platform used by teams to understand user behaviour online. BellQR brings those two worlds together: restaurant operations and product experience.

The platform was first built and tested inside Bell & Bastion, shaped by real guest behaviour and real restaurant needs. Today, BellQR helps restaurants create QR menus that guests actually enjoy using, while giving venues practical feedback they can use to improve the experience.

What makes BellQR different?

Most QR menu platforms focus on replacing a printed menu. BellQR focuses on improving the full guest experience.

Founder, BellQR

Built by the co-founder of Hotjar and co-owner of Bell & Bastion, combining product insight with real restaurant operations.

I've spent years helping companies understand their users through Hotjar, and years running a restaurant. BellQR brings those two worlds together.

Make QR menus feel helpful, not frustrating.
