Refund Policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to BellQR transactions processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and payment provider for BellQR subscriptions and other digital products.
BellQR does not process guest payments for restaurants, food orders, or in-venue transactions. This policy applies only to amounts paid for BellQR products and subscriptions purchased through Paddle.
2. Global Refund Policy
Unless required by applicable law, transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Refunds may be available where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right, or where Paddle grants a discretionary refund in accordance with its refund policy.
Refund requests must be made within the applicable refund window described below. If a refund is issued, access to the relevant BellQR product or subscription may cease.
3. Statutory Refund Windows
Where local consumer protection laws grant unconditional withdrawal or cancellation rights, those rights apply. For Paddle-processed BellQR purchases, the main statutory windows are:
- European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom: 14 calendar days from the transaction date for eligible one-time purchases and the first payment of a subscription.
- United Kingdom annual subscription renewals: a new 14-calendar-day withdrawal period begins when an annual subscription auto-renews for another year.
- Turkey and Israel: 14 calendar days from the transaction date.
- South Korea, Brazil, China, and Canada: 7 calendar days from the transaction date.
- Singapore: 5 calendar days from the transaction date.
If a subscription includes a free trial, Paddle states that a new 14-day withdrawal period begins when the free trial ends and the first paid subscription term starts, where that rule applies.
Statutory withdrawal rights do not apply where digital content has started to be downloaded, streamed, accessed, or otherwise used after valid consent to waive those rights, to the extent allowed by applicable law.
4. Discretionary Refunds
Paddle may consider discretionary refund requests submitted within 14 calendar days of the transaction date.
A request submitted within this 14-day period does not guarantee a refund. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis under Paddle's refund policy and applicable law.
5. How To Request a Refund
To request a refund for a Paddle-processed BellQR purchase, use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your transaction email, use the support link in your receipt or billing page, or visit paddle.net and select the refund option.
If you need product help first, you can also contact [email protected]. BellQR can help with product questions, but Paddle handles refund eligibility and payment processing for Paddle transactions.
If eligible, refunds are generally processed back to the original payment method where possible and within 14 days of approval.
6. Technical Issues and Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents access to BellQR as described, please contact BellQR first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue.
If the issue cannot be resolved, Paddle's refund policy provides for refund review in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Paddle encourages customers to request a refund before raising a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank, card issuer, or other payment provider.
If a chargeback or payment reversal is initiated, access to the relevant BellQR product may be suspended while the matter is reviewed.
8. Official Paddle Policy
This page is intended to reflect Paddle's refund framework for BellQR transactions. For the current full Paddle policy, see Paddle Refund Policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
